Why aren't we including parents?
As a school leadership team, we are paid to serve the best interests of the local community, right? But, how many times are parents involved in the very decisions that affect their kid's learning opportunities?
Now, I'm not talking about a PTO. I'm talking about ensuring this parent leadership committee is representative of the entire student body, and this committee would be represented at all major decisions affecting the school community.
