Additional Instruction

When working with students that have significant achievement gaps, it becomes necessary to provide additional learning opportunities outside of class time. This can be accomplished during the following:

• Before School

• Lunch

• In Place of Another Class (such as an Elective)

• After School

While most educators focus on additional instructional opportunities for struggling learners, it is also important to do so for learners desiring enrichment options. These could take the form of the following:

• Cross-Curricular (ex: STEM)

• "Deeper" Content Learing

• Future (Horizontal) Content Learning

• Future (Vertical) Content Learning
