As a Google Sites enthusiast, I have always seen the potential for student portfolio creation. Using a free Google Site, it would be very easy for students to organize their individual sites by content and by year. Then it would be as simple as students uploading select projects as desired. This one site (or two) could accompany each student throughout their K-12 learning journey!
Students could use it for potential post high school scholastic or employment opportunities. Further, educators could reference these student portfolios when assessing student performance, meeting with parents, at IEP meetings, etc!
