Model Teaching

A crucial piece to teacher professional development is the model teaching component. Any time a new school initiative is launched, teacher leaders should take the time to model for teachers how to actually teach, what it actually looks like.

An effective next step is to co-teach with the classroom teacher for as long as it takes for that teacher to become both effective and comfortable.
