I've had a lot of luck successfully funding emerging technologies for several classrooms over the years. Specifically, I've funded 3D Printing, AR, VR, 3D Modeling, and coding projects. I highly recommend educators use DonorsChoose if they don't have the funding. You are very likely to get funded!
It's a very simple process where you describe your school, classes, and the projects you'd like funded. Then people simply purchase your equipment for you!
